HuiRun Retail is located in the centre of Changsha district. The aim of this project is to bring ‘rural’ to the city, exploiting urban/rural ties to benefit the local agricultural economy and to preserve Kaihui town’s remarkably beautiful landscape and local, rural, handmade products.

The client approached us with an unusual ambition: their aim was to introduce a space that was, as yet, unknown to them. Our response was to develop a multipurpose showroom that can display products, hold meetings/seminars, a cafe/bar, experience a display resort villa and outdoor greenery/planting space. 

The result is a collection of spaces and relationships that suggest a rural lifestyle to the city people.
